Prototype printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies also named surface-mount technology (SMT) PCB prototypes, PCBA prototype assembly, PCB sample assembly, etc. The term prototype PCB Assembly refers to a fast prototype PCBA used to test the function of new electronic designs.
